Junius Foy Guin, Jr.

Junius Foy Guin, Jr. (born February 2, 1924) is a United States federal judge.

Born in Russellville, Alabama, Guin was in the United States Army during World War II from 1943 to 1946, serving as an infantry officer and achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He received a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1947, and was in private practice in Russellville, Alabama from 1948 to 1973. He received an A.B. from the University of Alabama in 1975.

On March 20, 1973, Guin was nominated by President Richard Nixon to a seat on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama vacated by Clarence W. Allgood. Guin was confirmed by the United States Senate on April 10, 1973, and received his commission on April 18, 1973. He assumed senior status on February 3, 1989.
