Joyner is a suburb in Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] It is north of Brisbane, the state capital.
Joyner is located east of Lake Samsonvale. The area was originally known as Harrisons Pocket before the modern day adaptation and implementation of the name Joyner. The origin of the name Joyner is from the Joyner family, early inhabitants in the area.[3]
Joyner is home to the bus depot of Thompsons Bus Service which operates bus services mostly in Pine Rivers.
