Jovian Ceparius
'Jovian, surnamed Hypatus or Ceparious, was, according to later traditio, a Venetian general and statesman of Byzantine origin. He served as the magister militium of Venice in 741 During his reign he aided in the fight between Heraclia and Equilio.
