Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences
The Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a scientific journal, published by John Wiley & Sons, on behalf of the American Pharmacists Association, with the support of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).[1] It is a peer-reviewed journal which caters to both an academic and industrial audience.
The Journal is included in Journal Citation Reports; its 2013 Impact factor is 3.007, which is 76 out of the 254 journals in the Pharmacology & Pharmacy category.
The journal was first published in 1912, as The Journal of the American Pharmaceutical Association. It adopted its present title in 1961. The online ISSN is 0022-3549;[2] the print ISSN is 1520-6017;[3] the standard abbreviation for the journal is J. Pharm. Sci. The editor is Dr. Ronald T. Borchardt, of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of The University of Kansas
