Josh Griffin (born Wednesday 9 May 1990 in Oxford) is an English rugby league footballer who plays for Salford Red Devils. He has previously played for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (twice), Huddersfield Giants, Batley Bulldogs, and Castleford Tigers as a Wing, or Centre.[2]
His older brother is the rugby league player Darrell Griffin,[3] and his younger brother is the rugby league player George Griffin.
He made his début for Wakefield in the Challenge Cup victory against Salford City Reds on 20 April 2008[4] and joined Huddersfield in the buildup to the 2009 season.
He made his début for Huddersfield in the Challenge Cup victory over Rochdale Hornets on 11 May 2009
He signed for Castleford Tigers in September 2011.
Griffin signed for Rugby Union outfit Leeds Carnegie with immediate effect.
In 2014 Griffin initially joined Salford Red Devils on a trial from Batley Bulldogs for the end of the 2014 season before securing himself a permanent 2-year deal.
Josh joined older brother Darrell Griffin and following the signing of younger brother George Griffin from the London Broncos all 3 brothers will be at the club for the 2015 season.
