Joseph Girardi (14 January 1943 – 7 December 1982) was an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Girardi was the head college football coach for the Baker Wildcats located in Baldwin City, Kansas. He held that position for 4 seasons, from 1976 until 1979.[1] His coaching record at Baker was 25 wins, 15 losses and 1 tie.As of the conclusion of the 2012 season, this ranks him #7 at Baker in total wins and #7 at the school in winning percentage (.622).[2][3]

He died in a one-car accident on a highway near Winslow, Arizona in 1982.[4][5][6]
