Josef Polig (born November 9, 1968 in Sterzing) is an Italian former Alpine skier.
He participated in the World Cup from 1988 to 1995 without getting a podium place. Not very many had given the Italian medal chances when he participated at the 1992 Olympics in Albertville. But Polig surprised everyone by winning the gold medal in the combined event.[1]
