Jose Angelo Chua Gellada better known by his nickname "Sheldon", is the bassist of the band, Hale. He currently resides in Parañaque.
Background
Jose was born on May 20, 1984. He studied at Manresa school for his elementary years and went to high school at the now defunct Philippine Christian's Montessori Village Inc. in Parañaque. He enrolled at the conservatory of music program of the University of Santo Tomas as a contrabass major for a year.[1]

Aside from Hale, he plays for 5 Leaves Left, together with Hale's former drummer Omnie and he has also a reggae band called Washday.[2]
Personal style
Gellada's style of playing bass can be rooted from electronic, progressive and other rock players. However, when he himself is asked, you will probably get humorous and interesting answers such as Chucky Dreyfuss, Dranreb Villeza, and Dale Villar of the That's Entertainment fame.[3]
Trivia
He has a fan club at Twitter called Sheldonistas.[4] At the success of their first album, he was the only one to have a girlfriend. He hated spotlight from the media too much, that's why he is called to be the Emo Bassist.[5] He is currently into his own band, along with former drummer of Hale, Omnie. He also has a tumblr and Facebook accounts.[6] He always give puzzling answers and misquotes if asked about his style of bass playing.[7][8]
