José Antonio Meade Kuribreña is a Mexican economist, lawyer and diplomat and current Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs.

Biography

Meade Kuribreña is of British and Lebanese[1] descent. Meade served as Secretary of Energy (7 January to 9 September 2011),[2] then as Secretary of Finance in the cabinet of President Felipe Calderon (9 September 2011 to 30 November 2012).[3]

Since 1 December 2012 Meade is the current Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs in the cabinet of Enrique Peña Nieto.
