Jorge Amaral Rodrigues (born 1 June 1970 in Xai-Xai), commonly known as Amaral is a former Portuguese footballer who played as a right winger.

Career

A youth graduate of Sporting, at age 19, he was loaned to Académico de Viseu, appearing in 30 league matches in the clubs last season in the first division. After winning the 1989 FIFA U-20,[1] he appearead sparsely over the course of the next five seasons.[2] He then moved to Benfica, but didn't settle, later appearing for Felgueiras, under Jorge Jesus management.[3]
