Jordan Taylor (racing driver)
Jordan Taylor (born May 10, 1991) is an American professional racing driver. He currently competes in the Rolex Sports Car Series for Wayne Taylor Racing. He is the son of sports car veteran Wayne Taylor.
Racing career
Born in Orlando, Taylor began his career in professional sports car racing in 2008, competing in the 24 Hours of Daytona and finishing 15th. His first full season came in 2010. In 2013 he joined Wayne Taylor Racing, a team owned by his father, sports car veteran Wayne Taylor, co-driving with Max Angelelli. He and Angelelli teamed to win the 2013 Rolex Sports Car Series' Daytona Prototype championship,[1] the final Grand American Road Racing Association championship before the merger of American Le Mans Series and Grand-Am,[2] winning five races including the last three of the season consecutively.[1] Previously, Taylor competed in the GT class, winning two races for Autohaus Motorsports. Taylor also competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012 and 2013 in the GTE-Pro class for Corvette Racing.
