Jordan Schmaltz (born October 8, 1993) is an American ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for the North Dakota Fighting Sioux men's ice hockey team which competes in NCAA's Division I in the NCHC conference.

Schmaltz came to the University of North Dakota after playing in the USHL with the Green Bay Gamblers where he won the 2012 Clark and Anderson Cups. He also received the honors of first team USHL. In 2011 he was traded to Green Bay from Sioux City where he was named to the 2010–11 USHL All-Rookie Team[1] and also to the USHL First All-Star Team.[2]

Schmaltz was a member of the gold medal winning USA team at the 2010 World Junior A Challenge.[3]

Schmaltz was drafted 25th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

His brother Nick was selected 20th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2014 NHL Draft.
