Jordan Kelly is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Western Bulldogs, having previously been listed with Hawthorn in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Originally from Edithvale in Melbourne, Kelly was selected by Hawthorn Football Club at pick #38 in the 2011 AFL Draft.[1]
Junior career
Kelly played junior football for Edithvale-Aspendale as well as representative football for the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup. Having studied at St.Bedes College from 2006-2009, Kelly transferred to Caulfield Grammar school in 2010 playing first XVIII football in year 11 and 12.
AFL career
Drafted by the Hawks in 2011, Kelly played 55 games for Box Hill in the VFL off a half-back flank.[2] He played in the 2013 Box Hill premiership team.
Kelly, along with Ben Ross and Derick Wanganeen were delisted by Hawthorn on 9 October 2014.[3] Unlike the latter two, Kelly was delisted without playing a single game for the Hawks. He was subsequently picked up by the Western Bulldogs in the 2014 rookie draft.[4]
