Jonathan "Jonny" Cooper is a Gaelic footballer who plays inter-county for the Dublin senior team and the Na Fianna club.[1][2] He was part of the Dublin team that defeated Tyrone by 0-18 to 0-17 to win the 2013 National Football League.[3][4][5][6] He was then part of the Dublin team that beat Mayo by 2-12 to 1-14 in the 2013 All-Ireland final. 2014 was a bad year all round for Cooper; First he won the 2014 National Football League with Dublin and then they won the 2014 Leinster Senior Football Championship; he was part of the Dublin team that got hammered by Donegal in the All-Ireland semi-final then he got stabbed in the city.[7][8]
