Jonathan Caleb McReynolds (born September 17, 1989) is an American gospel musician. He started his music career, in 2012, with the release of, Life Music, by Entertainment One Music and Light Records. This album would chart on three Billboard charts Billboard 200, Gospel Albums, and Independent Albums.

Early life

McReynolds was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 17, 1989,[1] as Jonathan Caleb McReynolds.[2] He was raised by a single mother, since his biological father was not around.[3] This was rectified with the mentorship of other elders in the church, who would become his male role model, like his pastor at New Original Church of God in Christ and some godfathers along with some uncles.[3]

Music career

His music career got started in 2012, with the release of Life Music on September 25, 2012, by Light Records and Entertainment One Music.[4] This was his breakthrough released on the Billboard charts, and it placed at No. 98 on Billboard 200 along with Gospel Albums at No. 3, and at No. 23 on the Independent Albums chart.[5] He is a GMA Dove Award and Stellar Award nominee.[3] India Arie claims that she is a fan of his music.[6]
