He was a silver medalist at the Bolivarian Games (Ambato, Ecuador 2001) and at the Pre-Panamerican Tournament (Tijuana, Mexico 2003), a quarter Finalist at the Panamerican Games (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic 2003), and a semifinalist at the Pre-Olympic Tournament (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 2004)
