Jonatas Figueira Fernandes, commonly known as (born 16 January 1992), is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward.

Club career

Born in São Caetano do Sul, Jô started his career at Corinthians' youth setup, mainly criticized due to his indiscipline problems.[1] On 8 June 2011 he signed a four-year deal with Grêmio,[2] but returned to Corinthians two months later.[3]

On 29 February 2012 Jô joined hometown's São Caetano in a two-year deal.[4] On 1 September he played his first match as a professional, replacing Vandinho in a 1–0 home win against Avaí for the Série B championship.[5]

On 26 September 2014, after appearing in only one further match for Azulão, Jô moved to Portuguesa.[6]

Personal life

Jô's brother, Mário Fernandes, is also a footballer.[2] A defender, he was also groomed in São Caetano's youth setup.
