Jolina Magdangal-Escueta is a Filipina actress, singer, TV host, entrepreneur and former teen idol.
Career
Magdangal started her career by signing with talent agency Star Magic and made her debut on ABS-CBN channel's Ang TV on 1992. In her early years, she worked as a teen idol and also released her own brand of dolls.[1] In 2002, she parted ways with her network and moved to GMA where she remained for twelve years. She later returned to her home network ABS-CBN in 2014.
Apart from acting, Magdangal is also a pop singer and recording artist. She has released several albums with original OPM songs. Her most notable releases were Jolina (1999) and On Memory Lane (2000) which were certified platinum for selling more than 150,000 copies.[2]
Personal life
In 2011, she married Rivermaya's drummer Mark Escueta on two separate ceremonies. First, November 19 at a very private affair in Tagaytay, then, at the Splendido Taal Golf and Country Club also in Tagaytay on November 21, 2011. On July 15, 2013, they announced that they are expecting their first child.[3]
