John Widowfield is a former Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 42nd District from 2003 to 2008. He resigned amid allegations that he had purchased Ohio State University football tickets with money from his campaign and then sold them for profit. Following his resignation he worked at Akron Municipal Court in the Clerk's office as a deputy clerk.
