John Swasey (born October 18, 1964 in Houston, Texas) is an American actor, voice actor, ADR Director, and script writer who works at Funimation and Seraphim Digital. He has provided voices for a number of English-language versions of Japanese anime series, and video games. His most notable roles include Gendo in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Sir Crocodile in One Piece, Lord Death in Soul Eater, and Van Hohenheim in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

In 1992, he had a costarring role in Intercontinental Releasing Corporation's Behind the Mask, directed by Warren Chaney. The film also starred Deborah Winters and Roy Alan Wilson[1][2] and was later acquired and redistributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.[3]
