John Ringling Causeway (also known as Ringling Bridge or Gil Waters Bridge)[3] is a bridge that extends past the Sarasota Bay, from Sarasota to Lido Key. Construction of the bridge started in 2001 and ended in 2003. The bridge was made by John Ringling.[4] This is another bridge by Ringling, the first being constructed in 1925.[5]
