John Marshall (oceanographer)
John Marshall is the Cecil and Ida Green Professor of Oceanography in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He is the author or coauthor of over 150 refereed publications, and coordinates Oceans@MIT.[1] His research group manages the MIT General Circulation Model, a General Climate Model that is widely used among oceanographers.
