John I. Leonard Community High School is a public high school located in Greenacres, Florida, USA.
History
John I. Leonard Community High School was originally located in an unincorporated area in Lake Worth, Florida and opened in August 1965. The school is named after John I. Leonard who was the Palm Beach County superintendent from 1936 to 1947.[2] On August 7, 1964, Melvin J. Adolphson was named as the first principal of the new school scheduled to open in the fall of 1965.[3]
In January 1994, the school was annexed into the city of Greenacres.[4]
