John Hurry is an American business executive best known for his work in finance and real estate. He is the owner of multiple companies across various niches, primarily focused in the financial markets. He is also the president of the Hurry Foundation, a private non-profit organization that aids other charitable causes. He is best known as the Director of Scottsdale Capital Advisors, a financial advisor group located in Scottsdale, Arizona.[1]

Hurry graduated with an undergraduate degree in finance and began working for United Parcel Service. He later completed his MBA in management and worked as a controller and financial analyst prior to becoming a financial adviser. He spent twenty years in the industry working for firms such as Prudential Securities, Merit Capital, Edward Jones, Waddell & Reed, and Equity Services prior to starting his own firm, Scottsdale Capital Advisors.

Hurry is the co-founder of Scottsdale Capital Advisors, a financial adviser firm that he started with his wife Justine.[2] Hurry serves as the Director of the company. His wife has previously served as the company's CFO and Principal.[2]
