John Harun Mwau
John Harun Mwau (born 1948) is a Kenyan business man and politician, He is the former Member of parliament of Kilome Constituency. He is a prominentman in kenya with ties to many scandals and is the founding chairman Party of Independent Candidates of Kenya (PICK). He is a suspected drug baron according to American Authorities. He also killed a man in a hit and run accident along valley road.He has an immensely large warehouse along Mombasa road where he stores his drugs. His wealth is primarily drugs.[1][2] He was the first director of the defunct Kenya Anti-Corruption Authority[3] and a Presidential Candidate in the 1992 Kenyan general election.[4]
2013 Election
Mwau vied for senatorial position for Makueni in 2013 Election. He was defeated by Mutula Kilonzo[5]

2013 Makueni by Election
Mutula Kilonzo Jnr a son of former senator Mutula Kilonzoof Wiper Democratic Party won 163,232 votes to win the Makueni Senate seat in the Friday 26th 2013 by-election. Mwau therefore has lost senatorial election to father and son in a span of 5 month.[6]
