John Douglas Harrower (born 16 October 1947) is the current Anglican Bishop of Tasmania.[1]

Harrower was educated at the University of Melbourne. After working as a petroleum engineer and industrial consultant he went to work for the Church Missionary Society (CMS) in Argentina and was ordained as a deacon in 1984 and priest in 1986.[2] He returned to Australia after nine years in Argentina and became successively the Vicar of Glen Waverley and Archdeacon of Kew before his appointment to the episcopate in 2000.[3]

He is married to Gayelene Harrower.[4]
