John Goldingay

John E. Goldingay (born 20 June 1942 in Birmingham, England[1]) is the David Allan Hubbard Professor of Old Testament in the School of Theology of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

Goldingay obtained a B.A. at the University of Oxford and a PhD at the University of Nottingham. He also has a Doctor of Divinity Lambeth degree.[2]

Goldingay was Principal and a Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at St John's College, Nottingham. He went to Fuller Theological Seminary in 1997, where he is now David Allan Hubbard Professor of Old Testament. [3][2] He is also an associate pastor at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Pasadena. Goldingay was married to Ann, who died on June 28, 2009, and has two sons.[1][4]
