John Edmonds Kozma (born January 25, 1972) is an American director, actor, producer, cinematographer, and founder of Bang Productions.

Past Projects

Kozma first came to prominence as a producer of music videos, crafting clips for such artists as Sean Combs, Mario Winans, DEL (a remake of the George Michael classic "Careless Whisper"), N*E*R*D backing band Spymob ("Walking Under Green Leaves"), and rapper Lil B.

In 2004, he produced the independent comedy feature Communication Breakdown and appeared in the film as the character "Sgt. Jeff Blackman."

Kozma and Bang Productions worked closely with Red Bull from 2005-2007 producing and directing documentaries for television. The focus was on some of the most extreme Enduro races in the world. These featured such action sports stars as Travis Pastrana, Nate Adams, Andy Bell, Ronnie Renner and many Enduro stars including David Knight.

Bang Productions was the first company to bring Enduro racing to America Television. Based on Kozma's vision, X-Games started an Enduro event in 2011.

In 2007, Kozma produced and directed a documentary called Giant Maximus, focusing on the annual Los Angeles-based music festival. World famous club DJ, Armin van Buuren, narrated the film.

In 2010, Kozma also produced a boxing event at the world famous Oheka Castle in Huntington, NY. It consisted of six professional boxing matches featuring Bryon "Gator" Mitchell and "Big" Michael Grant with stars attending like Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, Gerry Cooney, Tyrell Biggs, Lou Duva, Mark Breland, Dina Lohan, Brandon Jacobs, and Michael Lohan.

Upcoming Projects

On January 21, 2010, it was announced by USA Today that Kozma had signed on to produce a feature film biography about the life of Hall of Fame boxing trainer, manager, and promoter Lou Duva. On August 1, 2011, a reality show is being created with his partner Brandon Lang professional sports handicapper who worked with Kozma on the Brandon Lang Show. The reality show was set up at the USA network in 2012.
