The John Brown IV is a historic colonial house at 703 Pearse Road in Swansea, Massachusetts. The 2-1/2 story wood frame gambrel-roofed house was built c. 1752, and is a well-preserved example of a typical period farmhouse from the period. The entry portico and window above are Colonial Revival (early 20th century) alterations. The Brown family were locally prominent farmers and landowners.[2]
The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.[1]
