John Bresee

John Bresee is a Utah based serial entrepreneur with several startups to his credit. As well as a writer, editor, and entrepreneur coach.

He was co-founder of Backcountry.com, one of the leading outdoor gear etailers. John and Jim Holland sold Backcountry to Liberty Media and John C. Malone in 2007.[1]

He is director of ecommerce for Cellmania, a leader in mobile commerce funded by Motorola. Cellmania was acquired by Blackberry in 2013.

He was founder of the Wasatch Canyon Reporter, a Wasatch Utah based sports newspaper

He is managing editor and editor for powder magazine (skiing)

He is also freelance writer for magazines like Powder, Skiing, Outside Magazine, Newsweek and Gravity.
