John Armstrong (bishop of Bermuda)
The Rt Rev John Armstrong CB, OBE (4 October 1905 – 30 December 1992) was the fourth Bishop of Bermuda.[1] Born on 4 October 1905 and educated at Durham School and Australian College of Theology,[2] he was ordained in 1932.[3] A Chaplain to the Royal Navy he eventually rose to be Chaplain of the Fleet from 1960[4] to 1963 when he was elevated to the Episcopate.[5] He died on 30 December 1992.
