Johann Friedrich August Tischbein
Johann Friedrich August Tischbein (9 March 1750, Maastricht – 21 June 1812, Heidelberg) was a German painter. He was the most notable painter from the second generation of the Tischbein family of portrait painters and was known as the Leipziger Tischbein (the Tischbein from Leipzig). He was the son of the theatre painter Johann Valentin Tischbein and the cousin of Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein.
