Joe Sova (born May 8, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.
On March 19, 2011, Sova was signed as a free agent by the New Jersey Devils to an entry-level contract.[1]
On January 20, 2012, the New Jersey Devils traded Sova to the Carolina Hurricanes, along with New Jersey's 4th round choice in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft (Jaccob Slavin), in exchange for Alexei Ponikarovsky.[2]
On August 28, 2013, Sova signed as a free agent to return to the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.[3]
