James "Jimmy" Workman (born October 4, 1980) is an American actor, best known for playing the role of Pugsley Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993).

Early life

Workman was born in Fairfax, Virginia, the son of Chrisoula "Crystal", a homemaker, and Glenn Workman, who runs a communications firm.[1] Workman is a middle child. His sisters are actresses Shanelle Workman and Ariel Winter.

Career

Workman made his acting debut in 1991 as Pugsley Addams in The Addams Family feature film. While his sister, Shanelle, was reading for the part of Wednesday Addams (a role which later went to actress Christina Ricci), Workman was playing on the set. The casting directors noticed Workman and asked him to read for the part of Pugsley.[2] Workman reprised the role of Pugsley in Addams Family Values in 1993.

Other small roles followed, in films such as Black Sheep, As Good as It Gets, and The Biggest Fan. His television work includes Matlock, Life with Louie, and the television film Christmas in Connecticut.

Workman has retired from acting. He has been working in the technical crew for film and TV.
