The Jihad in the Path of God Brigade is a group that have been active during the Syrian Civil War. It is currently fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in eastern Aleppo province.^[1] The group acknowledges the Syrian opposition-in-exile government and the Syrian National Council.^[1] The Jihad in the Path of God Brigade was reported to be part of the Euphrates Volcano operations room in late September of 2014;^[4] it released a statement indicating that it was not affiliated with it.^[5] The group has since joined the Euphrates Volcano operations room.^[3]
