The Jiangwan Sports Center (Chinese: 江湾体育场), formerly Shanghai Stadium, is a football stadium in Shanghai, China. It was built in 1934 as part of the Greater Shanghai Plan. It has hosted the National Games of China on three occasions: in 1935, 1948, and 1983. The stadium holds 20,000 spectators. On October 17, 2010, the stadium hosted the first ever AFL match in China between the Melbourne Demons and the Brisbane Lions.[1]
