Jessie Joe Parker (born 8 July 1985) is a Papua New Guinean rugby league footballer, who has played for the Papua New Guinea national rugby league team, representing them at the 2008 World Cup and the 2010 Four Nations in 2010. Whilst regarded as a utility player, Parker's position of preference is at centre.

Playing career

After several impressive seasons in the PNG domestic league, Parker signed for Cairns based Queensland Cup side Northern Pride for 2009.

In 2009, Parker joined Championship big spenders Featherstone Rovers on a two-year contract at Post Office Road. He signed with the Wakefield Trinity for 2011, however Jessie had to cancel his contract due to personal reasons .[2] He joined Whitehaven in 2012.[3]

Representative career

Parker was named in the Papua New Guinea training squad in August, 2008 for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[4] He went on to play for PNG in the World Cup. He was named as part of the Papua New Guinea squad for the 2009 Pacific Cup.[5]

He played for Papua New Guinea in the 2010 Four Nations tournament. He played at both centre and fullback in the tournament.
