Jesús Marcelo Sucre Medina (born April 30, 1988) is a professional baseball catcher for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball.
Sucre was called up to the majors for the first time on May 23, 2013.[1] He recorded his first career hit on May 24, 2013 against the Texas Rangers.
Sucre was optioned to the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers on March 11, 2014. He was called back up to the Seattle Mariners on July 8, 2014, upon the release of John Buck to serve as the backup catcher to Mike Zunino.
