Jerry Wainwright (born February 11, 1947) is an American basketball coach who was last the Director of Basketball Operations for the Marquette Golden Eagles.[1] He was also the head coach of DePaul University Blue Demons from 2005–2010.[2] Following his mid-season firing in 2010, Wainwright left college basketball to promote charity causes in North Carolina. Over the past two seasons, in 2010 and 2011, Wainwright has served as an in-studio analyst for Sirius XM's Mad Dog Radio's NCAA Tournament coverage with Chris "Mad Dog" Russo. [3]
