Jerome Julien Kiesewetter (born 9 February 1993) is an American soccer player who currently plays for VfB Stuttgart.

Club career

On 16 May 2012 Jerome Kiesewetter signed a four-year contract with VfB Stuttgart.[1]

Kiesewetter made his debut for VfB Stuttgart II on 25 September 2012 in the 3. Liga against F.C. Hansa Rostock.[2]

In January 2014 he was loaned out to Hertha BSC II until the end of the season.

On 6 March 2015 Kiesewetter made his Bundesliga debut for VfB Stuttgart against Hertha BSC.

International career

At the age of 17 Kiesewetter was called for the first time into the United States national under-20 team for a tournament in Peru in September 2010.[3] He made his debut for the U.S. under-20 team on 6 September 2010 against Paraguay.[4] In the 2011 Milk Cup Kiesewetter played for the under-18 team of the United States. He scored in the first match of the tournament against Israel[5] and in the third-place match against Georgia.[6] On 11 November 2011 Kiesewetter made his first appearance for the United States national under-23 team against Azerbaijan.[7] In October 2012 he participated with the under-20 team of the United States in the Marbella Cup.[8] On 11 February 2013 U-20 Coach Tab Ramos added Kiesewetter to the USYNT U-20 squad for the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship, the qualifying tournament for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.[9] Kiesewetter appeared twice for the U-20's in the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship, playing against Haiti and Costa Rica in the group stage.
