Jeff Lucas is a popular international author, speaker and broadcaster.[1]
Career
Jeff Lucas is an international speaker, author and broadcaster. He is a teaching pastor at Timberline Church in Fort Collins, Colorado. He broadcasts on radio - In Good Company Premier Christian Radio, and Lucas On Life on UCB Radio. His shows can be heard daily on over 350 radio stations worldwide, including Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. He writes a monthly column for Premier Christianity, the men's magazine Sorted[2] and daily Bible notes for CWR - "Lucas on Life Every Day".
Lucas is an ambassador for Compassion UK, a charity working to help children in poverty worldwide. Lucas traveled to both Ethiopia and India in recent years to film for Compassion. Lucas is a bestselling Christian author and has written twenty-one books, as well as booklets, DVDs and Study Guides. His sales of products internationally have exceeded 1 million copies, and have been translated into German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Korean and French.
Previous activities
Previously a member of the Spring Harvest 'Council of management' for many years, he stepped down in 2009 along with Steve Chalke and Ruth Dearnley. Lucas has historically been linked to the Pioneer Network, a Christian network established to "develop new churches across the UK and engage in mission globally". He was also the director of 'Equipped to Lead' and is a former Vice President of the Evangelical Alliance.
Personal life
Jeff Lucas is married to Kay, they live both in Southern England and in Loveland, CO. He has two grown up children, Kelly (married to Ben, living in the South of England) and Richard (living in Washington DC) and two grandsons, Stanley and Alex.
