Jed Ismael (born January 5, 1992) is a Lebanese hacker, and YouTube vlogger, and blogger. He is best known for hacking a bank live on Lebanese Tv Show "Lel Nasher" and for his blog UltGate.

He is the first Lebanese to hack banks on TV, along with 50 other companies.[1][2][3]

Recognition

As of March 2014, he has hacked more than A Lebanese Bank Live on TV, along with several other huge companies, like Bank Audi, Middle East Airlines and Grand Cinemas.[4][5] [6]

In his appearance with the Lebanese Tv show "LelNasher", Jed was asked to prove his allegations about the insecurity of the Lebanese internet industry . To confirm the allegation, Jed booked cinema tickets online, and then booked a hotel room. The episode accompanied Jed as he received the "hacked" goods, without facing any problem. Jed used Man-In-TheMiddle attack, to fool and manipulate the data transferred between the largest Banks in Lebanon and their merchants.The bank hacked by Jed, are among the largest banks in Lebanon.[7]

Jed has appeared on various Media, including AlJadeed[8] and Panet.[9]

About UltGate and Viber

Jed authors a popular and controversial blog UltGate where he writes about computer software, security holes, and web applications. He also authors a list of articles, that helps people bypass censorship. His article about Viber, went viral in the Arab World. In the article Jed linked Viber's founder history in the Israeli Army, with the Israeli-Arab Conflict, claiming that Viber is an Israeli spying tool. His article was featured on Al Arabia, Ahram Digital,[10] and Dubai's AitNews.[11][12] In addition to his regularly updated blog, Ismael has recently become involved in YouTube, to become among the first Youtubers in the Middle East.
