Jean Paul Jesús Pineda Cortés (born 24 February 1989) is a Chilean footballer that currently plays for Chilean Primera División club Unión La Calera as striker.

Career

Jean Paul Pineda has played international tournaments like Copa Libertadores in 2011, while he was playing for Unión Española. They played against Universidad Catolica, Bolivar, Juniors de Barranquilla and Boca Juniors, scoring a total of 2 golas, one against Bolivar in Bolivia and the other against Boca Juniors in Argentina for the tournament. Pineda has been part of the National Chilean team as well. In 2007, he was part of the U20 against Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Costa Rica and Australia; helping the Chilean U20 team qualify for the U20 World Cup in Canada in 2007 with just 17 years of age. The same year he was debutes for the Adult National Team against Cuba in the city of Temuco, where Chile won 2-0, at just 18 years of age.
