Jean Jeavons

Jean Anne Jeavons (born 22 May 1956) is a British swimmer who competed at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.[1] Jeavons swam the Butterfly Stroke for Great Britain and the Melton Mowbray Swimming Club [2] where she became the County Champion and broke the County record which remains to this day.

Jeavons did not receive any medals at Munich (100 meters Butterfly, 200 meters Butterfly and 4 × 100 metres Medley Relay) and was place 20th,[3] 9th [4] and 10th [5] respectively, missing out on a place in the 200 meter final by a single place and less that a second.[6]
