Jean Arthuis (born 7 October 1944[1] in Saint-Martin-du-Bois, Maine-et-Loire) is a French politician and member of the Senate of France.[1] He has held various ministerial positions, especially regarding finances, and is now head of the Committee on Budgets in the European parliament.[1]
He is the President of the Centrist Alliance political party and is a member of the ALDE group in the European parliament.[1]
