Jazzstep is a genre that combines the scales and harmonics of jazz with the rhythm and feel from drum & bass. The genre usually consists of sampled jazz instruments along with electronic drums. Origins of Jazzstep can be traced back to the 1990s as the song "Pulp Fiction" by Alex Reece is mixed with Drum "n" Bass and Jazz.[1]
