Jayson Granger (born September 15, 1989) is a Uruguayan professional basketball player who plays for Unicaja Málaga of the Liga ACB. Standing at 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in), he plays the point guard position.
Professional career
Granger played at the Cordón youth teams in Montevideo. In 2006 he moved to Estudiantes.
At the age of 22, he jointed the Uruguayan national team for the South American Basketball Championship, where the team finished 3rd and he scored an average of 5.4 rebounds per match.
Granger also holds Italian citizenship.
He played for the Boston Celtics in the 2013 Orlando Summer League.[1] On July 17, 2013, he signed a contract with Unicaja Málaga, after Estudiantes failed to match the offer.[2]
