Jaylen Brown (born October 24, 1996) is a high school basketball player.
Brown attends Joseph Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia.[1][2][3] As a senior he helped lead his team to a victory in the Georgia AAAAAA state championship. With 0.6 second remaining, Brown hit two free throws to give Wheeler a 59–58 victory.[4][5]
Brown was rated as a five-star recruit and was ranked by Scout.com as the best recruit in his class.[6] Rivals.com and ESPN both ranked him second behind Ben Simmons.[7][8][9]
Brown was selected to play in the 2015 McDonald's All-American Boys Game.[10]
