Jayant (actor)
Zakaria Khan or Jayant (October 15, 1915 – 1975) was a Bollywood actor.[1]
Early life
He was born in Nodeh Payan (Nawa Kali) Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Pakistan) on October 15, 1915.[2]
Career
The name Jayant was given to him by director and producer Vijay Bhatt.
Personal life
Jayant was married and his children were Amjad Khan, Inayat Khan and Imtiaz Khan.[3] He was the grandfather of Shadaab Khan, Ahlam Khan, Seemaab Khan and Ayesha Khan and father-in-law of Shaila Khan and Krutika Desai Khan.
Death
He died in 1975.
