Jay Tavare /ˈtævɑːˈr/ is an American film actor and a blogger for The Huffington Post. He is an active supporter of non-profit groups such as the Adopt-A-Native-Elder Program.[1] In 1999 Tavare won an American Indian Movie Award for Best Actor at the American Indian Film Festival for his role in Unbowed.
